Timothy’s experience in the Food & Beverage industry started at the age of fifteen at various restaurants in Los Angeles, California, where he gained a huge passion for the wine side of the business. His move to Portland, Oregon in 1992 is when that passion took flight, working as a Wine Steward for the Wild Oats stores. He then opened Vino Paradiso Wine Bar & Bistro in 2005 (re-branded as Coppia Restaurant & Wine Bar in 2011), and when he sold the business in 2015, he shifted back to retail wine sales as the Corporate Wine Buyer for the Made in Oregon store chain, where he continues to thrive today.
Timothy is also a Very Minor Celebrity around Portland, known as a Vocalist and Percussionist for the Portland-based, world-touring band, Pink Martini. Seeking out perfect pairings of local foods and wines wherever the band travels is his main ambition in life!
