Wowza!! The color is on the light side, which can be deceiving because this sparkling wine is anything but shy. Super-vibrant on the palate and the verve keeps on going long after you swallow. We love the complexity (think deep cranberry, grapefruit acidity and Chinese Five-Spice) and the tiniest of tiny bubbles. This is a celebration in a glass! Made of 100% organically-grown Pinot Noir grapes from one of Napa Valley’s oldest vineyard, planted in 1836.

Pair this light and crisp wine with strawberries or oysters with lemon.

Winery Description

  • Owner and Winemaker of Brick & Mortar, Matt Iaconis, had dreams of being a rocket scientist and football player when he began his studies at UC Davis, but his eye quickly moved to the prize that is winemaking! After graduating with a degree in Viticulture and Oenology, he went on to apprentice in France, Italy, New Zealand and Australia before landing in Napa Valley, at Antica winery.

In 2011, Matt and his wife, Alexis, started Brick & Mortar with a focus on small-lot, single-vineyard Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah from hillside vineyards in Napa Valley. They are knocking it out of the park with their sparkling wine program, as well, which we are really excited about because we at Vindulge are big suckers for the stuff!

Alexis is an advanced-level Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, and having worked at several highly-celebrated (think Michelin stars) restaurants, she seems quite comfortable at the helm of hospitality at the winery, as well as helping with winemaking decisions! These two make a great team!
