- Sweetness:
- Acidity:
- Boldness:
This wine, in our opinion, encapsulates the Ruby Pinot Noir style: loads of juicy, fresh cherries and a bit of garam masala spice, with an undeniably silky-smooth mouthfeel and balanced acidity!
Pair this juicy red with our pulled pork sandwiches.
From the winemaker:
Our intent with the Ruby Vineyard Laurelwood Blend Pinot Noir is to make a wine that expresses the unique characteristics derived from Laurelwood soils of the east face of the Chehalem Mountains AVA in the Northern Willamette Valley.

Winery Description
-
Located on the north slopes of the Chehalem Mountains, just 30 minutes from downtown Portland, Oregon, owners Steve Hendricks and his wife, Flora Habibi, purchased the winery in 2012 when it was under a different name. In the short amount of time since Steve and Flora took it over, they, along with winemaker Andrew Kirkland, have completely transformed the vineyards, the wines and the tasting room experience, and taken it all to the next level!
Ruby Vineyard sits squarely in the middle of one of Oregon’s newest AVAs (American Viticultural Area), called the Laurelwood District, which is a region inside the Chehalem Mountains AVA…which is inside the Willamette Valley AVA. Laurelwood is the soil type that is dominant in this small area, and you can really taste the difference! The view from the tasting room, which is right in the vineyards, has a spectacular view of Mount Hood!
