Taste the red Jory soil of the Dundee Hills in this heavenly gem of a Pinot! Exquisitely textured, with delicate aromas and flavors of a forest rainfall, the most perfectly ripe cherries, a cup of black tea and an undercurrent of garam masala spice. Trust us, it works! Now, for another sip…
We recommend pairing this wine with our Grilled Pork Tenderloin recipe.
**Biodynamic agriculture is kind of like “Organic Plus.” It was developed in 1924 by Rudolph Steiner as a way of taking organic farming to new heights, where each farm is completely independent, and major stages in treating the crop—in this case, the vines—are guided by the alignment of the moon and the stars, etc. There are cow horns stuffed with ground quartz that are nestled into the ground in the vineyards to harvest “cosmic forces in the soil,” which is kind of cool. Sounds like voodoo to some people, but we feel that Biodynamically-grown grapes tend to make wines taste fresher and livelier, like the vines they came from are happier and ready to party! Good for the earth, good for the vines, good down the gullet!

Winery Description
-
One of only a few female and Hispanic-owned wineries in Oregon, Cramoisi Vineyard is a “micro boutique” winery, producing 200 cases, or less, of each of their stunning bottlings of sparkling wine, Rosé, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir!
Being a passionate advocate for Mexican farm workers, Sofia Torres-McKay co-founded the nonprofit organization AHIVOY (Asociación Hispana de la Industría del Vino en Oregon Y Comunidad), which aims to provide support and education for Hispanic folks to see their dreams come true in the wine business. Having grown up in a Mexican household, it goes without saying that Mary (Cressler, owner of Vindulge) is very proud and excited to feature Cramoisi in our wine shop! Note: we all love the Cramoisi wines, and are also elated to have them in our shop!
Sofia and her husband, Ryan McKay, planted their first Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines in 2012 in the Dundee Hills of the Willamette Valley, and they have been using organic and Biodynamic farming practices on their 7-acre vineyard ever since! (The vineyard is not yet certified as of September 2021.)
