Catarratto is the most widely-grown white wine grape used on the island, and this example, made with organically-grown grapes, is one of the best we have ever tasted! It has an undeniable element of sophistication that is rarely found in a white wine in this price range, with a perfect balance of fresh, ripe fruit, lemony acidity, a light note of beeswax and some actual tannins!

Winery Description

  • We are extremely excited to present our first four imported wines, all from a new small Italian winery, called Due Terre!!!
    Found in the Northwest of the island of Sicily, owner/co-winemaker Catherine Stratton and oenologist/winemaker, Vito Loaura, had a vision to produce small lots of organic wines in Sicily using indigenous grapes, with an attention to detail that is rarely seen in the region!


    A big part of that vision was to keep the wines at a price that defies the quality and balance, from the treatment of the vines, the winemaking practices, the beautiful labels (Catherine also is the artist for the labels of one of the wineries lines), to the juice inside!


    With each of the wines chosen to be featured at Vindulge Wine, we uttered, “Wow” at first taste, and couldn’t wait to share them with you!
