  • Sweetness:
  • Acidity:
  • Boldness:
This is a beautiful, unusually dark blend of Syrah and Zinfandel, with assertive, ripe red fruit flavors, a touch of fun spice, and a good amount of bright acidity to clear the palate for another healthy gulp!! This is a great wine for the Holiday dinner table, as it goes so well with so many foods!

Winery Description

  • Here, we have an exciting, family-owned and -run winery with a ton of history in the Willamette Valley of Oregon!
Over 170 years ago, Jerry Owen’s family staked their claim here, with 1,500 acres of farmland, and five generations later, Jerry and his wife, Elaine, have established Lady Hill Winery!

In 1995, Jerry and Elaine planted 20 acres of vineyards, and, in 1999, they founded Owen-Roe Winery, well-known for their wide variety of high-quality vinous offerings for many years. Then, in 2012, they established Lady Hill Winery, “a tribute to…the long, lady-laden ancestry of the Zorn-Owen family.”

Lady Hill is carrying the torch for Owen-Roe, and we are thrilled to feature a sample of the incredible wines they produce under the names (all under the Lady Hill umbrella) Lady Hill, Procedo, Radicle Vine, Ad Lucem and Fons Amoris!

Jerry Owen oversees much of the grape growing, fruit sourcing and management of the winery, while Elaine manages the brand and image of it.

Winemaker, Dan Curyee, was the Associate Winemaker at Cana’s Feast Winery (in the Willamette Valley, OR) for eleven years before he took over at Lady Hill in 2016. He also has a hand in many other aspects of the business.
